6 Warning Signs You Could Have A Heart Attack – One Month Before It Will Actually Happen!

The leading death cause in U.S. is heart attacks and that’s about 25% of all deaths. There are 3 major causes of heart attack and they are: smoking, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
According to the CDC(Center for Disease Control and Prevention), there are five conditions that are added to the risk of heart attack. Those are: Excessive alcohol use, physical inactivity, poor diet, obesity and overweight and diabetes.

½ of the heart attacks are happening outside hospitals and the key for survival is the early detection. A 2005, CDC study says that 92 percent of respondents recognized a discomfort in the chest area as a heart attack symptom. Just 27 percent of them were aware of the symptoms and knew to call the emergency when someone was having a heart attack.

Heart attack symptoms:

These are the symptoms of heart attack you need to be aware of. This may help you to recognize the symptoms even 1 month before it happens to you or to someone else.

*Chest discomfort

The most common symptom is the chest discomfort and it comes in different forms. Some people fell pinching and burning while others feel a pressure in the chest. This can happen while you are at rest or during physical activity. However, if you feel any strange feelings in the chest, contact with a doctor immediately.
It is common in women to have heart attack without feeling any discomfort in the chest.

*Feeling tired

A reason for heart attack can be an unexpected feeling of fatigue and the heart works harder as arteries begin to close. That makes simple tasks so exhausting. This can result with a need of multiple naps during the day or sleeping longer hours at night.

*Long-lasting cold symptoms

Also a sign of heart attack can be having cold symptoms that are long lasting. Blood can leak back in the lungs because the heart is struggling with supplying the body with blood. You should pay attention to pink or white mucus with your cough because it can be a blood leakage byproduct.

Veins can begin with swelling and cause a bloating effect as the heart is struggling to pump the body with blood. The main swelling points are: the legs( as they’re farthest from the heart), ankles and feet. It’s also possible to observe blue tinge(peripheral cyanosis) that is seen in the extremities or the lips.

The brain may not receive the needed amount of oxygen because the blood circulation is restricted with a weakened heart. This is something you have to pay attention and seek medical attention, if you feel light headed or constantly dizzy.

*Shortness of breath

Shortness of breath is another sign of having a heart attack. The lungs and heart work in unison and if the heart begins to work poorly the lungs do not get the needed amount of oxygen. This need to be treated immediately as it causes difficulty breathing.

All of these symptoms may appear one month in advance. That is why it’s important to be aware of all the symptoms at all times. Seek medical attention if you feel any of these symptoms or a combination of them. Protect yourself and your health as best as you can.
