These Japanese students are learning about taking care of themselves and their classmates from the beginning of their educational process. In this video, you can see how these children are taught to operate their own lunch period.

The school director says: “ The 45 minute lunch period is considered as an educational period, same as math or reading”.

They believe that kids should learn about proper hygiene, about good manners and the importance of work in their early ages.

These students are polite, don’t interrupt, don’t pick their nose and the teachers are proud to raise a polite, kind, and well-liked child.
