Corns on feet are just like the calluses – thick and hardened skin area. The causes of corns on feet are also similar to those of calluses- too much pressure and friction that your feet goes through due to various reasons a ill fitted shoes, walking barefoot or wearing high heels etc.
The only difference between a corn and a callus is the shape in which they occur on your feet, and sometimes on hands too. Corn has a definite shape while callus can develop in any shape and without a defining edge. In fact, corn is a type of callus, a cone-shaped callus that develops mostly between the toes.
Calluses are usually not painful but corns may be painful as there is an inward pointed formation within the corn that gives you a pricking type of feeling when you walk or put pressure on the site of corn.
You can remove these calluses and corns through a few simple steps and all you need is houseleek and a plaster.
– Take a leaf of the houseleek and remove the thin skin that surrounds it
– Place the leaf atop the corn using the side that has no skin. Put the patch through the houseleek leaf and leave it like this an entire day.
– In the evening, replace it with a new houseleek leaf and a plaster. Wear a bandage over it at night because that is when your feet are not in shoes and that is when it is most effective.
– Using this method for 3-4 days, then you should notice that the corn and its source disappeared and has been replaced with healthy skin tissue. This is a tried and true method that causes quick results.

Another option uses ivy leaves and the procedure is as follows:
– Cut up 4 fresh ivy leaves. Prior to going to bed every night, put them on the corn.
– Wrap them with a bandage or plaster and leave it on overnight.
– Repeat for 10 days
Also try this:
– Wash feet
– Chop up a raisin in half and put the chopped juicy side directly on the corn.
– Wrap with a bandage, gauze, or plaster until the corn eventually falls off
