Watermelon is one of my favorite foods especially in the summer but really any time of year. They’re delicious and incredibly good for you.

Watermelons are about 92% water, so excellent if you’re feeling dehydrated or need a juicy snack. Each bite is loaded with vitamins A, B6 and C, tons of antioxidants, amino acids, and potassium. It’s a great food to eat because of its immune-boosting powers.

Watermelons also contain citrulline, which when consumed is converted into arginine, an amino acid. Arganine is critical for healthy blood flow, good cardiovascular health, and can even end erectile dysfunction. Forget the viagra!

Watermelon also helps with digestion because of all the fiber and reduces inflammation. It helps your body clear out diseased, inflamed cells and replace them with healthy ones.
